- Padda's next project, 'Shakti Shalini', is a horror comedy releasing December.
Aneet Padda has stated she completely avoids food served on film sets, a habit developed after unpleasant past experiences. She recounted that before her success in 'Saiyaara', she found set meals unpalatable, describing instances of soda being poured and papad fizzing. This personal aversion highlights ongoing concerns about catering quality in the industry.
These concerns are amplified by a severe incident in August 2025 when approximately 120 crew members of the film 'Dhurandhar', shooting in Leh, suffered from food poisoning. The affected individuals experienced intense abdominal pain and vomiting, requiring hospitalization. Investigations into the cause of the mass food poisoning, including sample analysis, were initiated.
Padda was last seen in the series 'Hunkkaar' and has a forthcoming horror comedy, 'Shakti Shalini', set to release in theaters this December. The film also features the late Nana Patekar.
