Summary
- Podcaster Andrew Huberman reportedly connected to smear campaign.
- Allegations involve manipulation and concealment tactics.
- Lawsuit points to digital forensics linking individuals.

Wellness podcaster Andrew Huberman is reportedly connected to a sprawling online mud-slinging scheme. This alleged operation surfaced in the wake of legal disputes involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. New York Magazine previously detailed allegations of "mechanisms of control" against Huberman, citing anonymous women he was romantically involved with.
In parallel, anonymous web activity emerged targeting Anya Fernald, an ex-girlfriend of Huberman and former CEO of meat company Belcampo. This activity contended she was responsible for her company's collapse due to product mislabeling scandals. A new court complaint suggests Huberman's circle may be involved in these efforts.
The current lawsuit, filed by actress Alexa Nikolas, alleges defamation over smear websites. It names Hollywood litigator Bryan Freedman and his associate Jed Wallace as defendants. Digital forensics in Nikolas' suit indicate common authorship between accounts promoting Wallace and smearing Nikolas, as well as smearing the woman allegedly behind the New York Magazine article on Huberman.
Freedman, who has represented both Fernald and Huberman in the past, has denied responsibility for these campaigns. Blake Lively's legal team has stated that she helped expose "covert digital takedown campaigns designed to intimidate, discredit, and drown out the truth."
