Anand Raaj Anand: From 90s Hits to Jungle Comeback

Composer Anand Raaj Anand has made a notable return to the music scene with the film 'Welcome To The Jungle'. His popular 2007 song 'Ucha Lamba Kad' has been reimagined as 'Ucha Lamba Kad Forever' for the new movie, with Anand also contributing an original song, 'Deewane Hain'.

Anand shared insights into his career, including how the late Feroz Khan facilitated his involvement in the original 'Welcome' film. He recalled a late-night session with director Anees Bazmee where three songs were finalized for the first movie, all of which remain popular nearly two decades later.

Regarding the 'Ucha Lamba Kad Forever' remix, Anand emphasized Akshay Kumar's directive to Vikram Montrose to preserve the original song's soul, noting that 95% of its feel remains intact. He also spoke about the challenging yet rewarding composition of 'Deewane Hain', a celebratory village-themed song.

Reflecting on his work with Akshay Kumar, Anand noted their limited but highly successful collaborations, expressing happiness over the positive reception of their joint musical efforts. He expressed contentment with experiencing different eras of the music industry, from physical media to digital communication.
