Amy Sedaris Reunites with J.Lo for New Netflix Comedy

Amy Sedaris is making a return to the screen, reuniting with Jennifer Lopez for an upcoming Netflix project. This collaboration comes over two decades after their initial pairing in the 2002 romantic comedy, Maid in Manhattan. The new film, titled Office Romance, is set to premiere on Netflix on June 5, 2026.

Sedaris recalled fond memories from the set of Maid in Manhattan, specifically Jennifer Lopez's habit of singing between takes. Despite a smaller role in Office Romance, Sedaris cherished the chance to work with Lopez again. She has not yet seen the completed film but expressed anticipation, noting that Lopez appeared "real and funny" during the days Sedaris was present.

Reflecting on her experience making Maid in Manhattan, Sedaris described it as a meaningful and comforting project. She shared that she was dealing with the grief of losing her first rabbit during filming. Sedaris also humorously recalled her "savage tan" from that period, wishing she still had it.

Office Romance also features Brett Goldstein and promises to be a new comedic venture for the streaming platform. Sedaris expressed satisfaction with her brief but impactful appearance in the new film.
