Amy Dowden Stuns in Bikini on Tropical Getaway

Professional dancer Amy Dowden recently shared photos of herself enjoying a sun-drenched holiday, sporting a stylish black bikini that highlighted her toned figure. The 35-year-old Strictly Come Dancing star is currently vacationing in an undisclosed location with her husband, Ben Jones.

This holiday follows a busy period for Dowden, which included a reunion with Strictly judge Shirley Ballas and fellow professional dancer Carlos Gu for a charity event last month. Dowden was seen looking sensational in a royal blue gown at the UK Open Dance Festival.

Neither Dowden nor Gu are participating in the current Strictly tour. Dowden's recent season on the show ended early when her celebrity partner, Thomas Skinner, was the first to be eliminated. Skinner later claimed the BBC rigged the public vote against him, citing an anonymous email from a supposed BBC executive.

However, an independent poll conducted by Strictly Spoiler, surveying 125,000 viewers, indicated that Skinner received only 1.4% of the public vote, providing evidence of his unpopularity. Dowden had previously expressed her disappointment that Skinner missed the Strictly finale due to the controversy.

Speaking on Lorraine in December, Dowden mentioned that her focus had been elsewhere due to the recent passing of her beloved dance teacher, Phillip Perry, who she described as a father figure. She expressed that she would have preferred Skinner to have been present at the final.
