Summary
- Ammy Virk supports Ranveer Singh amid Don 3 controversy.
- Excel Entertainment demanded money after Dhurandhar's success.
- FWICE dropped non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh.

Punjabi actor-singer Ammy Virk has publicly supported Ranveer Singh amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding Don 3 and Excel Entertainment. Virk pointed out that Excel Entertainment's financial demands, reportedly around Rs 2-4 crore, surfaced only after Singh's recent film Dhurandhar achieved significant success.
He contrasted this with the production house's inaction during Singh's previous films that did not perform well at the box office. Virk expressed his belief that any outstanding dues should be settled amicably and suggested that protracted legal battles are common in such disputes, often lasting for many years.
Separately, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) announced on Wednesday that it had rescinded a non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh. This directive had been issued in May following Singh's withdrawal from Don 3. The decision to drop the directive came after requests from CINTAA and IMPAA, and a day after Singh sent a legal notice to FWICE.
FWICE's Chief Advisor stated that the federation's legal team would respond to Singh's notice and appealed to the actor to engage in discussions to find a resolution. The primary financial contention in the dispute reportedly revolves around the Rs 45 crore invested in the film, with all parties open to dialogue.
