Amitabh Bachchan: Too Tall for Bollywood?

Amitabh Bachchan, a renowned figure in Bollywood, has shared past experiences of his early career, including moments of rejection. He recounted an incident where he was told he was "too tall" for a role and was asked to leave a film set.

During an interaction on Kaun Banega Crorepati, Bachchan explained that such criticisms, including scoldings for his acting, were common in his initial days. He believes these corrections ultimately aided his growth as an actor.

He also recalled being late for a shoot once, resulting in the director telling him to leave. Bachchan, who did not own a car at the time, had arrived late after getting a ride from someone else.

The actor is slated to appear next in the film Kalki 2, with a release expected in December 2027.
