Big B Recalls Near-Fatal Coolie Accident

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, aged 83, has been discharged from Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital. He was reportedly admitted due to old injuries sustained during a stunt on the sets of the 1983 film 'Coolie'. This admission has brought back memories of a life-threatening accident that occurred during the filming of 'Coolie'.

During a fight sequence with actor Puneet Issar, a mistimed jump led to a severe internal injury for Bachchan. The incident caused him to be 'clinically dead' for a period, with doctors struggling to stabilize his condition. He recalled being in a coma for some time and experiencing significant drops in pulse and blood pressure after surgery.

Bachchan, who has been entertaining audiences for over sixty years, is married to Jaya Bachchan, and they have two children and three grandchildren. Despite health challenges, the iconic actor continues to engage with his fans and pursue his acting career.
