Amit Trivedi Replaces Pritam on Shivaji Maharaj Epic

Amit Trivedi has been brought on board to compose the music for the historical film 'The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.' This creative shift occurs as Pritam, the original composer, announced a hiatus from mainstream cinema. Rishab Shetty is set to portray the titular role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in this ambitious two-part project, directed by Sandeep Singh.

The film's production team expressed confidence that Amit Trivedi's unique musical style will effectively capture the essence of Shivaji Maharaj's legacy. His collaboration with lyricist Prasoon Joshi, who remains involved, is anticipated to create a powerful soundtrack. This marks Trivedi's first Hindi historical feature film.

'The Pride of Bharat' is being produced on a grand scale, with production expected to commence later this year. The ensemble cast includes Arjun Rampal and Vivek Oberoi. While specific plot details are under wraps, the film aims to chronicle the life and achievements of the iconic Maratha ruler. The revised musical team is now in place as preparations advance for the upcoming shoot.
