The 25th annual Americana Honors & Awards show is scheduled for September 16th at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. This milestone event will feature performances and presentations by notable artists including Margo Price, Robert Plant, Brandi Carlile, and I'm With Her.
Robert Plant will receive a lifetime achievement award, marking his return to the Ryman stage. Dolly Parton will also be honored with a lifetime achievement award for her significant impact on roots music.
Additional performers include Boy Golden, Flatland Cavalry, and Molly Tuttle, among others. The Milk Carton Kids will host, with Buddy Miller as musical director for the Americana All-Star Band.
The ceremony coincides with the 26th annual AmericanaFest, running from September 15th to 19th. Live streaming will be available on NPR's YouTube and Americana Music Association's Facebook starting at 6:30 p.m. CT.
This year's Artist of the Year nominees include Brandi Carlile, Charley Crockett, Margo Price, Molly Tuttle, and Jesse Welles.
