Seyfried confirmed the fashion swap during a lie detector test interview, explaining that she asked their shared stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, if she could wear the exact ensemble. Stewart had previously posted photos of Roberts in the striking outfit, prompting Seyfried's request to replicate the look.

Stewart facilitated the unique request, and Seyfried subsequently wore the outfit, a Versace oversized blazer, striped button-down top, and jeans, to her own photocall. Stewart later shared a post celebrating the sustainable fashion moment, thanking Roberts for her generosity. This borrowing highlights a collegial approach to style within the industry, facilitated by their common stylist.

Beyond her fashion moments, Seyfried also touched upon her personal choices regarding cosmetic procedures. She stated in a separate interview that she has no plans for extensive cosmetic work and intends to continue with Botox treatments. Earlier in the year, Seyfried had temporarily forgo Botox and makeup for her role in "The Testament of Ann Lee," finding the sacrifice worthwhile for her acting.
