Amanda Holden Halts Radio Show Over Schofield Comment
25 Feb
Summary
- Amanda Holden stopped her radio show abruptly.
- Jamie Theakston mentioned Phillip Schofield's name.
- Holden and Schofield have a reported past feud.
Amanda Holden unexpectedly halted her Heart Breakfast radio show on Tuesday morning. The interruption occurred after her co-host, Jamie Theakston, mentioned the name Phillip Schofield. Holden, 55, immediately reacted, stating, "let's not mention that name on air, it's a family show!"
This reaction stems from a reported long-standing feud between Holden and Schofield. The dispute allegedly began in 2014 when Schofield reportedly influenced the decision for Rochelle Humes to co-host This Morning instead of Holden. Holden had previously filled in for Holly Willoughby on the show.
Schofield, 63, who presented This Morning until May 2023, has largely stayed out of the public eye since his departure following an affair with a junior colleague. Holden has previously indicated that she believes Schofield may have sabotaged her opportunities on This Morning.
