Conner expressed frustration with assumptions, stating that she has her own life and that not every post is about her marriage. She explained that her relationship with Ryan is generally good, despite minor everyday disagreements such as picking up clothes or washing the sink.

The couple, who confirmed their marriage in September 2025 with a certificate from Hamilton County, Tennessee, first began dating in 2023 and got engaged two years later. They were featured in MTV's Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.

Edwards' mother has reportedly shown support for Conner's video clarifying the situation. Meanwhile, Ryan's ex-partner Maci Bookout has previously spoken positively about Conner, describing her as easy to be around with good energy. Conner also revealed she attended the same school as Bookout.
