Alpha's Young Composers Take Bollywood by Storm

Abeer and Rohansh Pandit, sons of Lalit Pandit and emerging talents from the Mewati Gharana, have composed the music for the recently released film Alpha. This marks a significant debut for the 18-year-old and 21-year-old brothers in the Bollywood music scene. Their work on the YRF Spy Universe venture has been met with positive reception.

The composers described their process as organic and collaborative, emphasizing the need for a fresh musical approach for Alpha. They received crucial guidance from producer Aditya Chopra, who advised them that the significance lies not in the film's scale, but in their own creative contribution. This advice deeply impacted their perspective.

Working with the film's cast, including Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, was a memorable experience. Abeer recounted how Alia Bhatt actively helped them feel comfortable during the recording of 'Massacre,' noticing their nervousness and easing their anxieties. Both actresses are praised for their captivating performances in the songs.

The brothers also discussed recreating the popular track 'Bam Bam,' approaching it with respect for the original while infusing their own sound. They also received consistent, honest feedback from their father, Lalit Pandit, who allowed them creative freedom while offering expert guidance throughout the project.
