Actor Allu Sirish has lodged a formal complaint with the Hyderabad City Police, seeking intervention against excessive noise from a Hanuman temple in Vinobha Nagar. Sirish, a resident of Shaikpet, reported that the temple has been broadcasting loud music, exceeding decibel limits, until the early morning hours of 2 or 3 am for several consecutive days.
Residents of the Aparna One society, including vulnerable groups like the elderly and children, have been significantly affected by the persistent disturbance. Sirish stated that prior attempts to address the issue through the Film Nagar Police Station were met with requests to tolerate the noise until September 25, citing Ganesh Nimajjanam festivities. Despite the conclusion of the festival, the loud music has continued, prompting Sirish to publicly appeal for police action via X, sharing video evidence of the noise.
The Hyderabad City Police responded to Sirish's online complaint, assuring that the matter has been forwarded to the SHO of Film Nagar Police Station for necessary action. Allu Sirish, known for his roles in Telugu films like Kotha Janta and Srirastu Subhamastu, has previously engaged with authorities regarding community issues.
