The Delhi High Court issued an interim order on April 17, 2026, protecting Telugu actor Allu Arjun's personality rights. The court has restrained several entities from commercially exploiting his name, voice, and likeness without his explicit consent. This significant ruling comes in response to a lawsuit filed by the "Pushpa" actor, who alleged misuse of his identity through merchandise, voice cloning, and AI chatbots.

The court acknowledged Arjun's "stellar career" and "iconic status," noting that his unique attributes like name, appearance, and voice are intrinsically linked to him. The interim protection specifically covers the unauthorized use of these elements across physical and digital platforms, including social media, websites, and the metaverse.
