In an exclusive interview, All Time Low's singer Alex Gaskarth has teased the band's upcoming collaboration with acclaimed pop artist JoJo. The two acts have crossed paths over the years, but this marks their first official joint effort.
Gaskarth, 37, expressed his excitement about the track, titled "Sugar," which is set to be released on October 17 as part of All Time Low's 10th studio album, "Everyone's Talking!" The singer recalled how he and JoJo had previously connected, with the pop star sometimes joining Gaskarth's band at a jazz bar in Los Angeles.
"We linked up years ago. I used to go and watch this band play at a jazz bar in L.A. and she would sometimes just pop up and do her thing," Gaskarth said. "We got to chatting and loosely stayed in touch ever since. Years later, it came full circle."

Gaskarth revealed that he reached out to JoJo with the song, and she was immediately on board. "I sent her the song, and was like, 'Listen, I know we've never talked about doing anything before, but I hear you on this song, and I feel like you'd kill it.' She heard the song was down," he recalled. "It was just one of those meant to be moments."
The collaboration was announced via the band's Instagram, with JoJo expressing her excitement for the track. "I'm obsessed with the song, I cannot wait for you to hear it," she said in the clip.
