All-American Rejects Unveil Captivating New Single 'Eggshell Tap-Dancer'

In the music world, the All-American Rejects have been making headlines with the release of their new single "Eggshell Tap-Dancer." The indie rock band dropped the track, which is the third single off their upcoming album, just last month.

According to lead singer Tyson Ritter, the playful new song is "about performing tenderness until your feet bleed." He explains that the character in the track is "tiptoeing around someone who probably stopped listening three exits ago, but he's still there -- pulling rabbits out of hats, making balloon animals out of his own arteries." Ritter calls it a "love song written for someone who's just detached from the world and madly in love with obsession."

The All-American Rejects are set to return with their as-yet-untitled new album in February 2026, which will be the band's first release since 2012's Kids In the Street. In the meantime, the group is currently in the midst of a massive arena tour with the Jonas Brothers.
