A fresh trailer for the sequel to the acclaimed 2014 game, Alien: Isolation, has surfaced. Creative Assembly premiered the trailer at Summer Game Fest, providing more insight than an earlier preview. The game appears to be set on a moon or planet, deviating from the space station of its predecessor.
Japanese dialogue with English subtitles suggests the Weyland-Yutani corporation plays a villainous role. The trailer intersperses shots of a crashed module and the iconic xenomorph with dialogue hinting at severe corporate consequences. Fans speculate the module is the one Amanda Ripley jettisoned in the first game.
Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley, is implied to be the protagonist. The game is being released by Sega and 20th Century Games, though a release date remains unannounced. The trailer features blood, a damaged Working Joe android, and the terrifying xenomorph.
