Alief Boards World Sales for 'Lunar Sway'

Alief, a U.K.-France sales outfit, has taken on the world sales rights for "Lunar Sway," the second feature film from Canadian writer-director Nick Butler. The movie stars Noah Parker and Liza Weil in the central roles.

"Lunar Sway" tells the story of Cliff, a young man grappling with his search for connection. His life takes a turn when his estranged birth mother, Marg, unexpectedly appears. They form a bond, but her hidden history and a vengeful antagonist threaten their newfound relationship.

Butler described the film as an exploration of outsiders on society's margins. He aims for audiences to see themselves reflected in the characters and the universal search for love. Alief partners expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting its relatable themes and the communal experience of cinema.
