- The blouse was a creation by Rimple and Harpreet Narula.
- It featured antique jewelry elements from Afghanistan and NWFP.

Alia Bhatt recently attended the Mumbai screening of 'Ramayana,' starring her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, in a distinctive fashion ensemble. She opted for a muted green linen saree from Anavila, distinguished by a contrasting blue border. The focal point of her attire was an intricate, silver-toned blouse by Rimple and Harpreet Narula.
This bespoke creation was designed to resemble a piece of elaborate jewelry, incorporating antique elements such as chains, pendants, coins, and colorful stones. Designers stated the blouse was inspired by Afghan and North-West Frontier Province jewelry traditions, aiming to merge historical fragments and craftsmanship into a wearable art piece.
The RAH Jewels team meticulously sourced these antique components over several months. The final assembly of the blouse involved approximately 150 man-hours and took about 10 days to complete, resulting in a striking juxtaposition of a minimalist saree with a maximalist, heirloom-quality blouse.
