Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine launches 'Don't Be Shy'

Alia Bhatt and her sister Shaheen Bhatt marked a significant moment for their production company, Eternal Sunshine Productions, at Prime Video's 'It Starts Here' event. They promoted their new film, 'Don't Be Shy,' a coming-of-age story, and unveiled its first look teaser poster. The event was hosted by Karan Johar, who engaged the team with his characteristic humor.

Johar playfully referenced director Sreeti Mukerji's past work, joking about the extensive seven-year filming period of 'Brahmastra,' a project Mukerji was involved in. He assured the audience that future projects would not face similar delays. Mukerji has a background assisting on films like 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.'

Nikhil Madhok, Head of Indian Originals at Prime Video, and co-producer Grishma Shah joined the team on stage. This venture into film production for Alia Bhatt follows her work on 'Darlings,' 'Poachers,' and the upcoming 'Jigra,' showcasing her expanding role behind the camera.
