Alia Bhatt's Show Cameo Sparks Identity Crisis

A leaked photograph from the sets of Samay Raina's 'India's Got Latent Season 2' has ignited an online discussion about the show's evolving identity. The image, featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, suggests they were filming a promotional segment for their forthcoming spy film, 'Alpha'. This development has divided fans, with some embracing the increased mainstream appeal while others lament a perceived departure from the show's original character.

Supporters view these high-profile appearances as a sign of the show's growing popularity. However, a significant segment of the audience expresses concern that the show may be losing its unique identity. Comments online reflect disillusionment, with comparisons drawn to other comedians who transitioned to more commercial platforms. This season also marks a return for Raina's show after a past controversy involving another podcaster.

Meanwhile, 'Alpha,' the film being promoted, is the first female-led entry in the Spy Universe. Headlined by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, it also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 10, 2026.
