Laviscount, who plays the character of Alfie, revealed that his character will be "definitely in the mix" this season, despite Emily (Lily Collins) having relocated to Rome to helm the new Agence Grateau office and start a relationship with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini).

In the past few seasons, Emily has been caught in a love triangle with Alfie and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). After choosing Gabriel, Alfie moved on with a new love interest in season 4. However, Laviscount teased that this season will see a "flipped on its head" twist, hinting that Alfie may still have a chance with Emily.

Laviscount also noted that viewers have seen Emily "do the jealous thing" in the past, suggesting that she may become jealous about Alfie's new love interest or the potential for a rekindled romance between them. As the actor put it, "It'd be interesting to see if she did get a bit jealous this season, and who she was jealous about."
