Hulu has canceled the reality dating show "Love Overboard," which premiered in March. The series, hosted by Gabby Windey and executive produced by Alex Cooper, ran for nine episodes and featured 22 singles competing for romance on a luxury yacht. Low viewership was cited as the reason for the cancellation.

This decision comes during a challenging period for Cooper's ventures. Her Unwell Beverage Co. is also ceasing operations after less than two years, with production winding down on its final seasonal flavors.

Despite these recent cancellations, Alex Cooper's professional ties with Hulu remain robust. Unwell Productions has secured deals for over eight new shows and films with the streamer, with several projects, including the scripted drama "You Deserve To Know," currently in development. The broader Unwell business appears to be thriving, having recently attracted investment that reportedly values the company at approximately $500 million, indicating substantial ongoing success.
