No criminal charges will be pursued against actor Alan Ritchson for a recent street brawl with a neighbor named Ronnie Taylor. Police in Brentwood, Tennessee, announced the closure of their investigation, determining Ritchson's actions were a matter of self-defense. This decision followed a review of evidence, including bodycam footage from Ritchson.
The released bodycam video appears to show Taylor initiating the physical confrontation. Taylor was reportedly angered by Ritchson riding his motorcycle in the neighborhood, especially with his two children present. The footage depicts Taylor approaching Ritchson aggressively, stepping in front of his motorcycle, and eventually pushing the actor and his bike.
Following the physical engagement, Ritchson reportedly struck Taylor multiple times. While an endangerment charge was considered, Ritchson declined to press charges against Taylor. The incident, which occurred on March 22, is now officially closed by the Brentwood Police Department and the Williamson County District Attorney's Office.
