Al Roker: Father of Three Turns 71!

Al Roker, the beloved weatherman and anchor for Today, is celebrating his 71st birthday on August 20, 2026. His journey through fatherhood has blessed him with three adult children. His eldest, daughter Courtney, was born in 1987 to his first wife, Alice Bell. Following his divorce in 1994, Roker married journalist Deborah Roberts a year later.

With Deborah Roberts, Al Roker welcomed daughter Leila in 1998 and son Nicholas in 2002. Roker has often spoken about the profound joys and worries of fatherhood, famously stating his children are 'hearts beating outside your body.' The family expanded further in 2023 with the arrival of his granddaughter, Sky Clara Laga, making him a first-time grandfather.
