Madhavan, Patani, Saran Join Akshay's Comedy Flick

R Madhavan, Disha Patani, and Shriya Saran have joined the ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar and Sajid Khan's upcoming untitled comedy film. This project, produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, is being developed as an out-and-out comedy.

Madhavan is set to reunite with Akshay Kumar, with whom he previously worked on Kesari Chapter 2. Their earlier collaboration saw them in antagonistic roles, but this upcoming film will feature them in a comedic setting, with their pairing anticipated as a highlight.

Disha Patani and Shriya Saran have also been confirmed for the film, taking on the roles of the romantic leads. The movie's narrative is expected to center on middle-aged men and follow a comedy-of-errors format.

Production is slated to commence in London towards the end of 2026 or in early 2027. This initial London schedule is planned to be extensive, contributing to the film's large-scale mounting.

Akshay Kumar is scheduled to begin this project after completing his work on Samuk, an alien survival thriller. The untitled comedy is intended to be shot in a continuous schedule. This film represents another collaboration between Akshay Kumar and director Sajid Khan, who previously worked together on Heyy Babyy and the Housefull series.

Sajid Khan will first finalize his directorial venture, Hero Ki Horrorine, before moving to this untitled comedy. The addition of Madhavan, Patani, and Saran to the cast, alongside Akshay Kumar, significantly enhances the ensemble for Khan's latest comedic offering.
