Akshay Kumar reminisced about a memorable college incident on national television, recounting how his efforts to woo a crush led to an unexpected outcome. Around 40 years ago, Kumar, then a college student, decided to serenade a girl he greatly admired.

Accompanied by a friend who played the guitar, Kumar sang for his crush outside her residence. However, the romantic gesture took a harsh turn when neighbors intervened and physically assaulted both Kumar and his friend, leaving them thrashed.

Kumar humorously reflected that sometimes, putting in too much effort can result in negative consequences. He is currently engaged in hosting 'Wheel of Fortune India' on Sony Television and Sony LIV, which airs weekdays at 9:00 pm. His film slate includes upcoming projects such as 'Bhooth Bangla' and 'Haiwaan'.
