Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan are reportedly joining forces for a new comedy film helmed by director Sajid Khan. This collaboration brings the actors together for a light-hearted project nearly 14 years after their last comedic venture in 'Housefull 2'.
The untitled film is described as an out-and-out entertainer, a "hilarious comedy of errors" centered on middle-aged men. R Madhavan will reportedly play a role distinct from his previous comedic performances.
Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, the film will also star Disha Patani and Shriya Saran as the romantic leads opposite the male protagonists. The story is expected to revolve around comic misunderstandings.
Production is slated to commence in London by the end of this year or in early 2027. Sajid Khan will begin this project after completing his current commitment, 'Hero Ki Horrorine'.
