Akshay Kumar recently shared his reflections on the influential figures in his career, highlighting the distinct impact of Amitabh Bachchan and his father-in-law, Rajesh Khanna. Kumar stated that Amitabh Bachchan serves as a significant inspiration for him as an actor.

However, when discussing Rajesh Khanna, Hindi cinema's first superstar, Kumar offered a more personal perspective. He explained that he learned valuable lessons from observing Khanna's experiences and mistakes. Kumar recalled Khanna actively discussing his errors, which provided him with crucial insights into 'what not to do' in the industry.

Khanna enjoyed immense success, particularly in the late 1960s and early 1970s, before the industry evolved with new talents. Kumar suggested that these conversations about success and failure profoundly shaped his own outlook.

Kumar also shared a nostalgic childhood memory, recounting how he and his parents would visit Rajesh Khanna's bungalow, Aashirwad, when he was just seven or eight years old. He marveled at the 'kismat' of marrying Khanna's daughter, Twinkle, completing a remarkable life cycle.
