Summary
- A Chennai theatre owner's tweet suggests Akhanda 2 might release tomorrow.
- Film's prior December 5th release was postponed unexpectedly.
- Legal disputes and financial issues may have caused the delay.

Excitement is surging for Nandamuri Balakrishna's Akhanda 2 as a Chennai theatre owner's cryptic tweet suggests the film's release may happen tomorrow. This optimistic update comes after the movie's abrupt postponement on December 5th, which caused significant confusion and disappointment among fans and exhibitors across Telugu-speaking regions.
The film's original release was abruptly cancelled just before its scheduled premiere, disrupting plans for those who had already booked tickets for early screenings. Overseas distributors also faced challenges with pending digital clearance messages, further complicating the situation. Production house 14 Reels Plus cited unavoidable circumstances for the delay.
Adding to the complications, a Madras High Court injunction, stemming from a dispute over a Rs 28 crore arbitral award, had prohibited any commercial activity related to the film. However, the Chennai owner's recent post, stating "All issues sorted," offers the strongest indication yet that these hurdles might be overcome, reviving anticipation for the film's eventual theatrical run.
