The highly anticipated release of Nandamuri Balakrishna's film, Akhanda 2, scheduled for December 4, has been indefinitely postponed. The production house released an official statement to fans, expressing regret over the delay and confirming that a new release date will be announced in the near future.

The production team extended their apologies to the eager fans and cinema lovers, acknowledging their significant anticipation for the film. Distributor 14 Reels Plus conveyed through social media that despite best efforts, unexpected circumstances led to the postponement. They assured audiences that Akhanda 2 will eventually hit the screens.

While the official statement did not specify the reasons for the delay, preliminary reports suggested financial challenges as a potential factor. The film, a sequel to a successful fantasy action drama, stars Samyuktha Menon and Aadhi Pinisetty alongside Balakrishna, with direction by Boyapati Sreenu.
