Ajith Kumar Trades Chennai Stardom for Dubai's Motorsports Solitude

As of November 4th, 2025, veteran actor Ajith Kumar, 54, has traded the spotlight of Chennai for the quiet calm of Dubai to pursue his passion for motorsports. In a recent interview, Ajith revealed that he made the move to escape the constant attention and focus on something that truly fuels him - motorsports.

Ajith, who once lived with an entourage, has undergone a striking shift in his lifestyle. He admits that excess company brought unnecessary chaos, saying, "The more people you have around you, the more things you have to deal with. I felt like I was wasting a lot of time trying to sort out the day-to-day squabbles between them."

Rooted in his middle-class upbringing, Ajith credits his parents for instilling a sense of self-sufficiency early on. "I come from a very middle-class family. My parents were wonderful and way ahead of their time. We were taught to do things on our own -- I learned cooking at the age of seven or eight," he recalled.
