Ajith Kumar Calls Karur Stampede a "Shared Failure"

Ajith stated that the individual alone is not responsible for the incident, but that "we are all responsible for it."

Ajith elaborated that the prevailing societal tendency towards large gatherings was a significant concern, describing it as being "obsessed with gathering." He suggested that such behavior needs to be reconsidered to prevent future incidents. Ajith also called for a more measured way for people to express admiration, cautioning against excessive hero-worship, which he argued can have negative consequences for the film industry's public image.

On a positive note, Ajith confirmed that he is preparing to reunite with director Adhik Ravichandran, following their work on the film 'Good Bad Ugly.' The official announcement of their upcoming project is expected to be made in January 2026. Adhik Ravichandran previously commented that while 'Good Bad Ugly' pleased Ajith's fanbase, their forthcoming collaboration aims to reach a wider audience.
