Ajay Devgn has ventured into television hosting with the latest season of Crime Patrol, reportedly signing a 15-episode deal that premiered on August 31. His reported remuneration for this season is approximately Rs 90 crore, positioning him as one of India's highest-paid hosts.

Salman Khan continues to lead as the highest-paid television host in India. Over his 15-year tenure with Bigg Boss, his fees escalated significantly. Initially earning around Rs 2.5 crore per episode, his earnings reportedly peaked at Rs 15 crore per week, accumulating to an estimated Rs 250 crore for a single season.

Amitabh Bachchan, the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati, also commands a substantial fee, reportedly exceeding Rs 100 crore per season, with weekly earnings estimated between Rs 15 crore and Rs 20 crore. Filmmaker Karan Johar and director Rohit Shetty are also noted for their significant hosting fees.

Ajay Devgn's entry with his substantial deal places him in the league of top earners, following behind Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in overall season remuneration. Crime Patrol, which first aired in 2003, has seen various hosts over the years, aiming to raise viewer vigilance.
