Ajay Devgn Returns to Kargil for War Drama 'Chauhaan'

Ajay Devgn has begun principal photography for his upcoming war drama, 'Chauhaan,' in Kargil, Ladakh. This strategic filming location brings the actor back to the mountainous region two decades after he shot scenes for J.P. Dutta's 'LOC: Kargil' in 2003. The current cold weather in Kargil is anticipated to contribute to the authentic atmosphere of 'Chauhaan.'

Directed by Neeraj Yadav, 'Chauhaan' is a collaboration between Jio Studios and Aanand L. Rai's Colour Yellow Productions. The film was announced on June 25, 2026, and is slated for a theatrical release on October 1, 2027. This project signifies Ajay Devgn's first on-screen collaboration with filmmaker Aanand L. Rai.
