- Actor clarified he dubbed a line without knowing the context.
- Film 'Chauhaan' is slated for release on October 1, 2027.

The upcoming action film 'Chauhaan', marking Ajay Devgn's return to the genre, has been embroiled in controversy shortly after its teaser 'Chauhaan' was released. Objections were raised by the Chauhan community and the Kshatriya Parishad regarding specific content in the promotional material.
In response to the backlash, the filmmakers replaced the voice of actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in the teaser within days. Ayyub subsequently issued a statement clarifying his involvement, explaining he was asked to dub a single line without any reference months prior.
He further elaborated that he acted in good faith due to his personal connection with the director, Aanand L Rai. However, upon seeing the teaser and the context of his dialogue's misuse, he requested its removal, stating he has no association with the film's content.
The dialogue that caused the stir was, "Pathaanon ko keh do Chauhaan aa raha hai." Reports suggest the film may be loosely inspired by a real-life incident outside Jama Masjid. Directed by Neeraj Yadav, 'Chauhaan' is produced by Jio Studios and Colour Yellow and is scheduled for release on October 1, 2027.
