Ajay Devgn Celebrates 15 Years of Golmaal 3, Teases Golmaal 5 for 2026

The Golmaal franchise, one of Bollywood's most beloved comedy series, has reached a significant milestone as Golmaal 3 celebrates its 15th anniversary. Ajay Devgn, who has been a constant presence in the blockbuster franchise, took to social media to commemorate the occasion by sharing a throwback photo with the film's cast and director Rohit Shetty.

The Golmaal series, which began in 2006, has since delivered four successful installments, with the latest being Golmaal Again in 2017. According to reports, the highly anticipated Golmaal 5 is expected to go on floors in 2026, marking the fifth chapter in the popular comedy franchise. The upcoming film is set to reunite Ajay Devgn with Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has been a part of the franchise since Golmaal Returns in 2008.

Director Abhishek Pathak is said to be working on ensuring the storytelling in Golmaal 5 is as taut as the first two parts. The team plans to begin shooting in Goa by December 2025 and wrap up by March 2026. Rohit Shetty, the mastermind behind the Golmaal universe, is currently busy with the Rakesh Maria biopic starring John Abraham, which is expected to be completed by September 2025. Once that project is done, Shetty will shift his focus to the pre-production and filming of Golmaal 5.
