The role ultimately went to Juhi Chawla, and 'Darr' became a landmark film for Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan later debuted in Mani Ratnam's 'Iruvar' in 1997, embarking on a successful career in Indian cinema.
