Ahsaas Channa is stepping into a new phase of her career with the release of 'Greater Kalesh', her first solo-led Netflix film. Ahsaas reflects on her experience portraying the character of Twinkle Handa, a young woman who returns home for a surprise Diwali visit. She notes that Twinkle's calmness and thoughtfulness marked a departure from her previous roles, which often leaned towards mischief and expressiveness. "We wanted her to be completely different from anything I've done before," Ahsaas shared. "She's calm, she thinks before she reacts, she's not performative. Playing her felt like growing up on screen."
