The Aftershock festival, the largest rock event on the West Coast, is commencing at Discovery Park in Sacramento. Gates open at 11 a.m. on Thursday, with festival entrances located on the north side at Garden Highway and the south side via Jibboom Street. To ease congestion and address limited parking, attendees are encouraged to use free transit options provided by SacRT. This includes shuttle buses and light-rail services, accessible by showing a valid festival ticket or wristband.
For those preferring alternative transport, a paid shuttle service runs from Cal Expo, offering free parking at its location. Daily passes for this shuttle vary in cost, with a four-day pass already sold out. Shuttles operate from an hour before gates open until approximately 75 minutes after the festival concludes each night. Limited walk-in parking is also available near the park entrances, with daily and four-day pass options. Additionally, a free bike valet service will be provided.
