He also recounted how potential projects were canceled shortly before production was set to begin, causing considerable setbacks.
Despite these obstacles, Dhar eventually made his directorial debut with 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' in 2019, which was a critical and commercial triumph. His latest film, 'Dhurandhar', has now cemented his position as a leading filmmaker, surpassing Rs 850 crore at the global box office in 2025.
