Adam Woodyatt, known for his role in EastEnders, has secured a major financial win after liquidating his former management company, XL Management. The company, co-founded with ex-wife Beverley Sharp in 2012, has resulted in a £33,000 windfall following its closure. Documents filed with Companies House indicate that the actor paid £99,518 in Corporation Tax after contesting HMRC's initial claim of £139,000.
Following these developments, HMRC confirmed on February 16, 2026, that their claim has been offset, and a repayment of £30,403.38, including interest, is to be issued. HMRC has also confirmed no further claims will be made, allowing the case to be closed. The liquidation report shows the company held over £500,000 when liquidators were appointed.
Upon the finalization of the liquidation, Adam Woodyatt and his ex-wife Beverley Sharp are set to share a balance of £413,366. The couple, who divorced in 2022 after 22 years of marriage, managed their business affairs through XL Management until their split in 2019. Woodyatt has since engaged a new management firm.
Beverley Sharp, who was instrumental in negotiating Woodyatt's EastEnders contracts and pantomime roles, reportedly expressed delight with her settlement, having previously rejected offers she deemed unfair. Reports indicated the divorce became 'toxic' over financial settlements, with Sharp allegedly being 'furious' over Woodyatt's six-figure deal for 'I'm A Celebrity' in 2021 while she faced financial struggles.
