Adam Pally, known for "Happy Endings" and "The Mindy Project," is set to star in "The Sanctuary," a new comedy series. The show is a collaboration between L.A.-based Happy Accidents, New Zealand's Kevin & Co., and Warner Bros. Discovery's New Zealand division.
Pally's character is an eccentric American billionaire who flees to New Zealand to escape the law. His attempts to avoid extradition lead him to convert his luxurious private island into a sanctuary managed by the Department of Conservation.
The series, comprising eight episodes, was created by Joseph Moore and Laura Daniel. It has been greenlit for broadcast in New Zealand on Sky's Three network and will also be available on the streamer ThreeNow.
