Levine has previously described fatherhood as a transformative experience, telling PEOPLE in February 2025 that he has "softened" since becoming a parent. He shared that he often cries daily and feels more in tune with his emotions, while also admitting to being more tired.

He expressed immense joy in observing his children's development, cherishing every moment as they grow. Levine's primary goal as a parent is to raise "happy kids" who "love their lives," which he considers the ultimate measure of his success and the greatest accomplishment in his life.
