Actress Pens Song Lyrics on 'The Pitt' Scripts

Actress Isa Briones shared a creative behind-the-scenes practice during a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Briones, who stars on the HBO medical drama, found an inventive way to appear occupied while her character, Dr. Trinity Santos, was in the background of scenes. With the hospital's computers offline and a need for manual charting, Briones decided to fill the script pages with song lyrics.

She revealed to host Kelly Clarkson that she began by writing the lyrics to Clarkson's own hit, 'Since U Been Gone.' Briones explained that she chose this song because she knew it by heart. Furthermore, she incorporated references to Clarkson's other popular song, 'Breakaway,' even noting its inclusion in 'The Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement.' Clarkson expressed delight at Briones's artistic adaptation, finding humor in the incorporation of song lyrics and fictional prescription dosages.
