Actress Vaidehi Nair's Childhood Dream Comes True on 'Taarak Mehta' Set

Actress Vaidehi Nair, known for her exceptional performances in shows like 'Shrimad Ramayan' and 'Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyaag Taandav', has recently shared a heartwarming story about a childhood dream come true. In 2025, Vaidehi revealed that at the age of 14, she had the opportunity to participate in a mock shoot for the character Sonu on the sets of the popular sitcom 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'.

Growing up, Vaidehi was a devoted fan of the show, and the chance to be a part of its world, even briefly, was a surreal experience for her. The mock shoot involved two sequences, one with the family and another with the Tapu Sena. Vaidehi expressed how it felt to perform alongside the characters she had admired for years, describing the set as filled with positivity and warmth, with the cast and crew welcoming her with open arms.
