Carla Woodcock is set to star in the upcoming shark survival thriller "White." The film follows Willa Harba, an actress traveling for a shoot when her private jet crashes into the Pacific Ocean.
Willa emerges as the sole survivor, finding herself stranded on a piece of the aircraft amidst the vast ocean. Her only connection to the outside world is a satellite phone.
Her plea for help is intercepted not by her demanding studio boss, but by marine biologist Sam Swatek. Swatek reveals Willa's dire predicament: she has landed in the White Shark Café, a notorious feeding ground for great white sharks.
Directed by Jake West, "White" features a screenplay by Dan Schaffer. The film is generating international sales, with distribution deals secured in Germany, Italy, Benelux, Portugal, the Middle East, Latin America, and Australia/New Zealand.
Production is overseen by Yariv Lerner, Dominic Burns, Crawford Anderson-Dillon, and Sky Morfopoulos. Kate Beckinsale is among the executive producers, alongside Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier of Highland Film Group.
