Actress Flees Terrifying Auto Ride in Mumbai

Model and actress Priya Bakshi recently detailed a distressing encounter in Mumbai involving an auto-rickshaw ride. While heading home late at night, Bakshi claims the driver deviated from the usual path and ignored her repeated requests to stop the vehicle. She expressed her fear and confusion, noting that the route was unfamiliar and not reflected on navigation apps.

The driver reportedly became irritated when questioned, insisting he knew the correct way. When Bakshi insisted she no longer wished to continue the journey and threatened to call the police, the driver allegedly stopped the auto in anger. He then made derogatory remarks about outsiders in his area.

Sharing her experience on social media, Bakshi conveyed her hurt and anger, stating she felt discriminated against based on her regional origin. She emphasized that unfamiliarity with a city or asking questions should not lead to negative treatment, nor should one's region make them an outcast. Her message called for greater inclusivity and respect beyond regional stereotypes.
